What is QR Table Order?

QR Table Order is a smart, contactless ordering solution that allows guests to browse the menu and place orders directly from their own devices.

How it works:

Scan: Guests scan a unique QR code placed on their table using their smartphone camera.
Browse: A web-based digital menu opens instantly without the need to download an app.
Order: Guests select their items and submit the order, which is sent directly to the POS and kitchen.

Why use it?

Efficiency: Reduces the need for staff to take orders manually, allowing them to focus on service.
Accuracy: Guests can review their order details before submitting, minimizing communication errors.
Convenience: Provides a seamless, modern dining experience where guests can order at their own pace.

System Setup Workflow

1. Enable Web Ordering on POS

Action: Activate the web order feature within your POS settings to allow the system to receive incoming digital orders.

2. Generate and Print QR Codes in System Admin

Go to https://admin.showmemenu.net and login
Select 'QR Codes' from the top menu

Output: Download and print the generated QR codes for physical placement.

Before you begin, choose the best method for your restaurant to provide QR codes to your guests. Our system offers two specialized formats to suit your hardware and display needs:

1.Download Raw QR Images: Best for NFC tag setup. Use these images to quickly 'write' table URLs to your physical NFC tags without manual typing.

2.Generate Printable QR Cards: Best for physical tabletop display. These are ready-to-print layouts designed for business-card-style markers to be placed on each table.

You can use either one or both to create a seamless contactless ordering experience.

1.SAVE All QR Codes

Function: This button allows you to download unique QR codes for each table as image files.

Usage: These QR codes are not just for printing; they are a fast setup tool for your NFC tags. Instead of manual typing, simply scan these downloaded QR codes using an NFC writer app to instantly 'write' the correct table URL to your physical NFC tags.

Benefit: This ensures 100% accuracy by syncing the QR and NFC data without any typing errors.

2.Print
Function: This button generates a professional, business-card-style layout containing the unique QR code for each table.

Usage: Download and print these files to create physical table markers. These cards are designed to be placed or displayed directly on each dining table for guests to scan.

Benefit: Provides a clean, ready-to-print format that ensures high scanability and a professional look for your restaurant's tabletop.
