Service Charge

Set service charge rate

Start POS application

Log in as manager or higher level user

Go to setting

1. Click "Show" of "Operation Settings"

2. Set the rate of service charge

3. Check "Apply as default" to apply the service charge as default for dine-in table order.

4. Check if VAT is applicable to the service charge. Uncheck otherwise.

5. Click "SAVE"

Name of the service charge

Name can be changed to such as Gratuity.

Go to Configuration page

 If you are a manager but "Configuration" button is not visible, contact your administrator to give you permission.

On the configuration view, scroll down and find "Service Charge Title"

Enter a title you want to use. (eg. "Gratuity)

Leave it as blank to use as "Service Charge"

Click "SAVE" button on top right corner.

Go back to main page

Click "SYNC" button.

Make sure that the title you entered appears on the receipt for service charge.

Scroll down on the right section and find "Service Charge Title"

Enter the name.

Click "SAVE"

Go back to main screen and click "SYNC" to apply the change

Multiple Service Charge

Multiple service charge rates can be set.

On configuration page, scroll down on the right section and find "Multi Service Charge"

Check to enable.

Click "SAVE"

Go back to main page

Click "SYNC"

Go to Setting

Open Operation Settings

Find "More Service Charge Rate"

Enter additional service rates with comma(,)

Example above is

10% as default

12.5% and 15% as additional choices.

Click "SAVE" 

Go back to main page

Click "SYNC" on the top right corner of the page

How to select the service charge rate

Open a dine-in table.

Default service charge will be applied.

To change click the checkbox of the service charge

Select your choice including no service charge

Now you will see the rate you chose
