1. Checking Tablet WiFi Connection
Purpose: Verify that your tablet is connected to the correct WiFi network dedicated to the Borium POS system.
Check Tablet is connected to the correct WiFi network.
Go to first page where users are shown to login
Then click exit icon on top right
Restart Borium POS Application
Then check if a button called "REMOTE" is visible.
If the "REMOTE" button is visible, it means that this table is not connected to correct WIFI.
If so, connect to correct WIFI and restart POS application.
Step 1 — Open Quick Settings Panel
On the tablet's home screen, swipe down from the top to open the Quick Settings Panel.
Long-press the WiFi icon (top-left blue icon) to go to the WiFi settings screen.
Step 2 — Check the Connected WiFi Name (SSID)
Under "Current network", confirm the WiFi name shown.
The correct network name follows the format: [Venue name] + "System"
Step 3 — Evaluate Connection Status
Step 4 — Remove the Wrong WiFi (Forget)
If the tablet was connected to the wrong network, reconnect to the correct one first, then:
Tap the wrong network → scroll to the bottom → tap "Forget" to delete it.
This prevents the tablet from auto-reconnecting to the wrong network in the future.
⚠️ Note: If the tablet connects to a guest or unrelated WiFi (e.g. UM Customer, UM Guest), it will lose connection to POS printers and the ordering system. Always ensure it stays on the BoriumSystem network.
