Go to https://dashboard.boriumstudio.com/pos/menus  and login

Select the menu you want to apply

The Item Edit window appears.
1.Click column of Recommended or Popular from the 'Popular' section in the top-right corner.
2.Once selected, tap 'Save' on the bottom right to confirm 

Go to showmethemenu page and check if changes are applied

Make sure category tabs "Recommended" and/or "Popular" appeared in the beginning of category list. Please note that these categories will not appear if no menus set to recommended or popular.
